Great, we have you covered! Check out this simple “nice cream” made from completely plant based ingredients. This recipe is especially helpful for those who love dessert but have a sensitive stomach when it comes to dairy products.
By the way, this can be used as a healthy dessert, a post-workout treat, or even a snack from time to time if you are looking for a little variety.
Grab your blender and let’s get rolling!
A delicious dairy free ice cream, packed with protein!
Prep Time5minutes
Servings2
Ingredients
2frozen bananas
1/2cupfull fat canned coconut milk
1TBSPalmond, peanut or seed butterWe suggest an overflowing TBSP!!
2 scoopsof plant-based protein powderWe used Naked Nutrition’s Pure Pea
1-2tspcinnamon(Totally up to your flavor preference!)
Instructions
Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
Scoop into a bowl and enjoy immediately or pour in to a container and freeze if you prefer a hard textured ice cream.
Option to sprinkle with your favorite toppings! Hemp seeds, shredded coconut, raw cacao or Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips!
Pro Tip: If you prefer soft-serve, we suggest you dig that spoon in ASAP. If you are more of a hard scoop kind of guy or gal, freeze the dairy free ice cream in a rectangular container for 30-60 minutes and scoop with a traditional ice cream scoop. And, for those who accidentally forget to remove the nice cream from the freezer in time, you may need to let it defrost on the counter for a few minutes before scooping!!
